The
Inkplotters met on the evening of January 4th. As well as the usual monthly
session this was a New Year celebration and so members shared food and wine. We
also welcomed new member, Sandra. The exercise for this
meeting was a piece of flash fiction. Two hundred and fifty words on any subject
as long as it included the word lodger. The stories included a near death
experience and a case of mistaken identity, some relationship stories and an
extract from a fantasy novel. The group also discussed issues regarding
publication. The remit for the next meeting on Wednesday 10th
February, is to bring along a poem.
