Meetings

As submitted for local press

Inkplotters

The Inkplotters met on May Day evening and enjoyed listening to and commenting on readings about losing independence. The story lines ranged from old heavy footballs, through dread of care homes, waking in the future in a pink room, to an end of a dancing life, then on to a criminal wartime past and a perfect crime going wrong. The group also listened to observations in a neighbourhood with shock of a sudden death. Next meeting 5th June at 19.00 is expected to be a talk by the Manager of Waterstones about a bookseller’s view on publishing. See - www.leamingtonspawriters.org.uk

Others points arising

For future meetings please let Pauline know in advance whether you will be coming. For the next meeting also please bring some food after discussing with Pauline what to bring and send questions for the speaker to Margarita.

Next reading to be prepared for 5th June ( In reserve ) and 3rd July meetings.  A “Sit com” dialogue 500 to 1000 words suitable for a radio reading.

If you would like me to put some of your stories up on the web site please let me know. Only a few of you are receiving the news as an e mail. To do so either let me know or put your e mail address in the box under the heading to the news page of the web site. I also need a few more writing biographies for the site.
